Hadley Johnson
Hadley graduated from Colgate University (USA) in 2025 with high honours in Neuroscience and a minor in Music. Her undergraduate research investigated the molecular mechanisms of sensory regeneration in zebrafish. She subsequently pursued an MPhil at the University of Cambridge (UK), studying the effects of maternal obesity and semaglutide exposure on fetal neural development.
Hadley joined the Dupret Group as a DPhil student through the NIH-Oxford Scholars Programme. Her research explores the neural mechanisms linking diet, memory, and feeding behaviour, with a particular interest in hippocampal dynamics and the effects of metabolic interventions. This research is conducted jointly under the supervision of Prof David Dupret at the University of Oxford (UK) and Dr Michael Krashes at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (USA).
