Raphaël Nunes da Silva
Research Student
Raphaël earned an engineering degree from CentraleSupélec (France) and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University (USA), specialising in neuroengineering. His previous research explored seizure rhythms in epilepsy, hippocampal dynamics during memory-guided behaviour, and the effects of closed-loop electrical stimulation on human memory dynamics.
In October 2026, Raphaël began his DPhil in Clinical Neurosciences in the Dupret Group. His research focuses on understanding the neural oscillatory dynamics underlying human memory formation, consolidation, and recall, in collaboration with Dr Leila Reddy at the Brain and Cognition Research Center (France).
